WS INSTREG: Presets
A preset groups the device's regional parameters. The operator selects the country, carrier, and time zone; all other values are calculated automatically.
What's included in the catalog
What does the operator choose?
- Country — base region of the preset;
- Operator — mobile operator from the list of the selected country;
- Time zone - one of the country's time zones.
What is populated automatically
- ISO country code;
- locale and language;
- date and time format;
- phone prefix and permitted number length;
- operator code, MCC and MNC;
- associated device profile;
- network identifier modes provided by the preset.
Show selected country, operator, time zone and all calculated fields without real UDID.
How to choose a preset
Open "Settings → Presets"
Wait for the list of countries to load.
Select country
Lists of operators and time zones will be updated automatically.
Select carrier
Check the displayed MCC/MNC and operator code.
Select time zone
Use a value that matches the network route.
Check summary
View ISO code, locale, language, date format, phone prefix, and build profile.
Align the SMS settings
Return to SMS Services and select a compatible number country.
Selecting a country in the preset does not change the SMS provider's country. Configure both sections separately and confirm that they match before the run.
